Chief, What Do You Have to Say?

This is what we stood up and said in a 1992 press release after police in Los Angeles viciously beat Rodney King (the beginning of citizens posting video accounts of bad police behaviors) and were acquitted by a jury.

The resulting civil disturbances left 63 people dead, over 2,000 injured, more than 12,000 arrests, and property damage over $1 billion.

If your police agency made a public statement after George Floyd was killed by police in Minneapolis, let me know and I will post it here.
